Justin Rose and Chris Studenka’s latest thriller, “Down Radical,” has just been released on the independent film festival circuit to standing ovations, throughout the independent film world. Their first film “Run Rabbit,” garnered multiple awards and lit up the eyes and consciousness of independent film audiences everywhere. The unlikely duo financed the slick, edgy new thrill ride for only $1,200, an unheard-of budget for an independent feature film. Studenka, who plays the film’s title character, was also behind the casting, producing and actual, on-hands filming. Believe it or not Studenka and Rose were the only crew members on the production. Their unbelievable ingenuity and fearlessness allowed them to bring on a score of actors as well as secure locations for free, all while working full-time jobs.
The film, which has already been taking independent film audiences by storm should hopefully be available for streaming once the film has completed its festival tour.
